I purchased this with some hesitation, after reading that someone else had trouble popping out their finished candies. Given that the mold is shallow, I found it a bit challenging to not overfill, but I just had to figure that out. I refrigerated the filled mold for approximately 10 minutes. My white chocolate candies came out easily and well formed. Perhaps the other reviewed used a looser chocolate, but they worked very well for Guittard white chocolate. I would buy this again.
I had a hard time getting the doves out in 1 piece. For as much gentle as you are they will break in two because they are not deep enough. I couldn't use it for my daughter's baptism favors.
If it wasn't for the fact that I'm HORRIBLE at coloring the chocolate, it would have been hard to convince my friends that I made them. Coloring the green was easy, was almost like a "Paint by number" however, I couldn't get the red color right, and that was my fault. But these molds were very easy to use! I thought the way I laid the sticks in, they wouldn't stick to the chocolate as well, but they did! This is perfect for beggining chocolatiers! ^_^
These molds work great and to the person who gave it three stars, so what if there're only 4 lollipop spaces? That's no reason to give the product a lousy review. These molds are great quality and the chocolate comes out easily. The best chocolate to work with from my experience is the Candy Melts, as they come out very smooth.
This lollipop mold does not allow lollipop sticks for all molds (only 4 of 7) molds can be used with sticks.
These make great BARS. They are really thick, but you can just not put as much chocolate in and they would be fine.
This chocolate mold is really good! The material is as they say "heavy duty". The chocolates come out easily and really shiny. You just need to keep it clean and you'll get amazing results!
I needed some turtles for a baby shower cake, these worked wonderfully. The turtles came out perfect with no imperfections.
