Top quality, but the strand size is really small, I guess I didn't realize how small in diameter this mold would make the pearls. Also it doesn't really work with just fondant, for best results you have to add a little gumpaste.

I used this twice to make chocolate almonds. It worked ok. But after the two uses it ripped and is now useless. I washed it by hand and took great care with storage. But, it still ripped while trying to remove a chocolate almond. I am not happy with the product.

If I am not going to be using pure chocolate for a recipe, I use only Merckens. I have used dark,lite and white chocolate wafers. It is a great product with good chocolate flavor (better than many others on the market). It melts wonderfully smooth and hardens to a nice candy shell. Well worth the price.

Not what I expected - Product was not user friendly. Chocolate was not easy to release from tray making final step of putting pieces together difficult and messy. Tried experimenting with non-stick sprays, refridgeration, freezing - different types/brands of chocolate...no luck.

I bought this mold for my boy's birthday party. I wanted to make cake pops in the shop of golf ball. This molds were too small for that, so I used them to make the cupcake toppers golf balls instead. The mold is very sturdy and easy to use and clean. The chocolate came off very easily once it was hard.
