This is a hard plastic candy mold. It works great for chocolate and candy making. Doesn't work well for butter mints, as they're too thin.

I really love this mold. It works equally well for chocolate and pressed sugar candies. Each mold cavity will hold about 1/2 teaspoon of product. The candies release easily, and they are the perfect size to use to decorate cakes and cupcakes. They are beautiful, and fun to decorate.

The butterflys are the perfect size for shower favor.The plastic is thin making it difficult to get the butterflys out of the mold once the chocolate is hard.
