You are purchasing 2 pounds of Merckens chocolate wafers. We buy the chocolate fresh and in large quantities so we can pass the savings to our customers. We package the chocolate in the factory. We are not responsible if it melts in transit.

If I am not going to be using pure chocolate for a recipe, I use only Merckens. I have used dark,lite and white chocolate wafers. It is a great product with good chocolate flavor (better than many others on the market). It melts wonderfully smooth and hardens to a nice candy shell. Well worth the price.
